Azar Sang Sorkh Co. is owner of a travertine quarry in Azarshahr district. This quarry is located at the south-west of Azarshahr-Bonab road, 15 Km from Azarshahr and close to Kalvanagh village.
This quarry is covers an area of approximately 1 square Km and has a reserve in excess of 1,000,000 ton of red and a special yellow travertine stone. In this quarry by employing modern technology and by proper and efficient use of the machineries available in this quarry and by a good climate condition, a production rate of 50,000 ton of red and yellow travertine per year, in predefined dimensions for internal use and export could be easily achieve.
The stones produce up to now in this quarry while being exported to many countries in large quantities and has been enjoying a good local market.
